The Standing Committee on Health and Social Development is seeking feedback from the public regarding programs, policies and supports currently in place for the Island’s unhoused community and those facing homelessness, with a focus on what is working, what is not working, and any recommendations to support the unhoused community, those facing homelessness, and all PEI residents.
The Committee will be holding four public meetings across the Island at which individuals or organizations may come forward to present on this topic.
The committee may use information gathered from feedback to formulate recommendations to the Legislative Assembly in hopes of supporting the unhoused community and those facing homelessness.
