The Indemnities and Allowances Commission is an independent body responsible for establishing employment benefits for the role of a Member of the Legislative Assembly. The Commission reviews and sets benefits to ensure the position is reasonably compensated for the work required, and to ensure the position is accessible to anyone interested in serving as an elected official.
