Topic:  The committee will receive two briefings:

1.  Briefing on the topic of challenges related to emergency services and increased workload.  The briefing will be provided by representatives of the Prince Edward Island Fire Fighters Association (PEIFFA):

  • Gerard McMahon, PEIFFA President and Charlottetown Fire Department District Deputy Chief
  • Ronnie Enman, PEIFFA Vice-President and Summerside Fire Department Fire Chief
  • Darrell Graham, PEIFFA Board Director and Alberton Fire Department Fire Chief
  • Greg McCormick, PEIFFA Board Director and Crossroad's Fire Department Chief

2.  Briefing on the topic of increased workload for paramedics.  The briefing will be provided by:

  • Jason Woodbury, President of Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 3324
  • Alice Rice, Vice President of Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 3324

Please note additional presenters may be added to the meeting agenda as necessary.
