The following committees are no longer active, but their reports to the legislature and meeting transcripts are available in the Committee Documents search.
The Legislative Assembly began live streaming committee meetings online in September 2017, and recordings of these meetings are available, along with any audio available for some committees, in the Committee Media Archive. The chart below indicates which formats, if any, are available online for each inactive committee.

Social Development (2003-2009) |
The Standing Committee on Social Development was charged with matters concerning education, health and social development. Pursuant to Section 16 of the Human Rights Act, RSPEI 1988, Cap. H-12, the Committee was also responsible for recommending to the Legislative Assembly persons to serve on the Prince Edward Island Human Rights Commission. In November 2008, the Committee was charged, by Motion 58, to consult with Islanders regarding the health risks of high energy drinks and seek direction on possible restrictions on the sale of these drinks.
