The Orders of the Day is the daily agenda of the Legislative Assembly and includes all potential business members may call during any sitting day. It is also called the "order paper."
Not every item on the order paper is called every day. Any business that has not been completed during the sitting day is automatically transferred to the next day’s agenda.
The Notice of Motion paper follows the Orders of the Day and is included in the daily order paper. It contains a list of all motions which ministers and private members have brought forward and can be debated in the House.
Not every motion is called, but motions remain on the order paper until the end of a session of the Assembly (for example, until the end of the 2nd Session of the 65th general Assembly).
The order paper is the daily agenda of the Legislative Assembly.
