Gordon McNeilly was elected MLA for District # 14, Charlottetown – West Royalty in 2019 and 2023, and served as the third party critic on wellness, social development, housing, justice, public safety, and the status of women.
Mr. McNeilly is a successful entrepreneur owning 2 small businesses in the Charlottetown area. Through his fitness and wellness business, he is a fitness professional, has extensive experience in coaching and is a dynamic and charismatic motivational speaker. He also owns and operates a thriving new landscaping business.
He is a professional communicator with on-air live broadcasting and provides colour commentary and analysis for the National Basketball League of Canada and the UPEI Panthers of the Atlantic University Sports
Gordon has displayed his talents as a community builder and is a respected community leader for over 20 years; engaged in outreach, promoting and supporting many not-for-profit organizations in the community. Most notably, he was the Provincial fundraising chair for the United Way for 3 years, he served as a Director of Lennon Recovery House for 2 years and gives freely of his time and expertise to many local associations. He is heavily involved with the Alzheimers Association and has volunteered to many community special events and local organizations.
He is bilingual and holds a Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick.
