A professional land surveyor, Jill was the first woman commissioned as a land surveyor in the province of Saskatchewan. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering at the University of New Brunswick, a Diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of New Brunswick as well as an Urban and Rural Planning Diploma at Holland College.
A former member of Stratford Council, Jill chaired the Planning, Heritage and Development and the Community Campus Committees and was Vice Chair of the Finance Committee. Jill is Co-Chair of the Stratford High School Planning and Construction Committee and Chair of SHAPE Stratford, a CMHC initiative to advance affordable housing opportunities in Stratford.
Jill was elected as the MLA for District 6, Stratford-Keppoch, on April 3rd, 2023.
Originally from Souris, Jill is a proud Islander happy to call Stratford home, along with her husband Brian and their children, Lucy and Jack.
