Lynne Lund (née Gallant) was elected to the Legislative Assembly on April 23, 2019 for District 21, Summerside-Wilmot. She is the deputy leader of the Green Party of PEI, and was the opposition critic for Education and Lifelong Learning, and Justice and Public Safety. She also served as Chair of the Standing Committee on Rules, Regulations, Private Bills and Privileges. She was defeated in the April 3, 2023, provincial general election.
Lund was born and raised in Summerside, and is an avid volunteer with numerous groups and organizations in the Summerside area, including the Summerside Lions Club. She is a mother to two boys and was the owner of a cloth diapering business for many years in Summerside.
