Melanie Watson - École François-Buote
What are some of your interests/hobbies/extracurricular activities?
- I love the countryside and rural living. I spend as much time as I can participating in equestrian sports and working with my horse! I also tend to be very involved in school. I am the vice president of our student council, I'm a tutor, a peer helper, and a peer counselor!
What are you most looking forward to about working as a page at the Legislative Assembly?
- I'm really interested in learning more about provincial politics and how our Island's Legislative Assembly works. I look forward to experiencing and seeing how these processes are made!
Olivia McNeill - Three Oaks Senior High School
What are some of your interests/hobbies/extracurricular activities?
- I play soccer in Summerside and at Three Oaks. I volunteer teaching catechism classes at my parish, St. Paul's, and I'm the president of TOSH's student leadership council. I enjoy going to the gym or reading in my free time.
What are you most looking forward to about working as a page at the Legislative Assembly?
- This opportunity caught my attention because of all the connections I'll be able to make, the relationships I'll start to form, and hands-on experience I'll be able to take away.
Marissa Howlett - Souris Reginal High School
What are some of your interests/hobbies/extracurricular activities?
- Music, reading, and painting
What are you most looking forward to about working as a page at the Legislative Assembly?
- I am looking forward to being a part of the PEI government and experiencing it.
What are your future plans?
- I plan on going to university at UNB or Dalhousie for computer science.
Lucas Nguyen - Grace Christian School
What are some of your interests/hobbies/extracurricular activities?
- Basketball, volleyball, and chess
What are you most looking forward to about working as a page at the Legislative Assembly?
- Experiencing and learning more how PEI Legislative assembly works.
What are your future plans?
- I plan to go to university in Toronto or British Columbia and enter the engineering program. hopefully I can do great outside in the world.
Malcolm Orford - Colonel Gray High School
What are some of your interests/hobbies/extracurricular activities?
- I've been playing piano since I was 5, I'm in an indie rock band called "The Darvel." I enjoy listening to podcasts in my free time.
What are you most looking forward to about working as a page at the Legislative Assembly?
- It'll be cool to see the inner workings of the Legislative Assembly, and it's good to listen to the problems of your community be discussed, debated, and resolved.
What are your future plans?
- I hope to study electrical engineering at the University of Toronto.
Simba Hove - Kensington Intermediate Senior High School
What are some of your interests/hobbies/extracurricular activities?
- Debate, Student Council, and soccer.
What are you most looking forward to about working as a page at the Legislative Assembly?
- Learning how bills are processed and passed; being around Members of the Legislative Assembly, getting to know them and learning from their life experiences in political leadership.
What are your future plans?
- Study psychology in science
Frida Schneider - Charlottetown Rural High School
What are some of your interests/hobbies/extracurricular activities?
- Fencing (currently training for the 2023 Canada Games), CRHS Debate Team, and concert and jazz bands
What are you most looking forward to about working as a page at the Legislative Assembly?
- I'm excited to see the way that provincial government works first-hand. The process of creating and passing bills is one that I find particularly interesting and I'm thrilled to now be able to watch it unfold up close!
What are your future plans?
- After graduating from high school my plan is to attend York University to study French, as well as continuing with fencing on their varsity team. I'd like to pursue a career in municipal or provincial government after earning my BA and plan on using what I will have learned about government through the Page Program in order to best serve my future community.
Isabel Campanaro - Bluefield High School
What are some of your interests/hobbies/extracurricular activities?
- I have enjoyed participating in sports, such as figure skating and cross country running. Other things I do in my free time include painting, reading, and listening to the podcast "Revisionist History" by Malcolm Gladwell.
What are you most looking forward to about working as a page at the Legislative Assembly?
- To learn, firsthand, about the legislative process and to have insight of what a career in politics looks like day to day.
What are your future plans?
- I am planning on continuing my education at university. I hope to continue my studies in health sciences and political science.
Margaret Wooten - Montague Regional High School
What are some of your interests/hobbies/extracurricular activities?
- I play the flute, write fiction, read, ride, and research.
What are you most looking forward to about working as a page at the Legislative Assembly?
- I'm interested in seeing the government at work and learning more about the process.
What are your future plans?
- I'm interested in being a musician, author, or political journalist.

- Stocks and investing, mechanics, and auto racing (rally and track).

- I plan to be self-reliant with my investing and tour the world with friends.
