Pay and Benefits

Members are paid for their work and are eligible to claim certain expenses.

Authority for pay, expenses, and allowances is established by the Legislative Assembly Act, the Indemnities and Allowances Commission, and the Standing Committee on Legislative Assembly Management.

Private members' expense disclosures are posted to the Legislative Assembly website and ministers' expense disclosures are posted to the provincial government website on a quarterly basis.
