Conflict of Interest Forms and Resources
Within 60 days of being elected to the Legislative Assembly every Member must complete a Private Disclosure Statement and file it with the Commissioner. This Statement must disclose the value of the assets and liabilities of the Member and each person of the Member’s family. A member’s “family” means the Member’s spouse, minor children and any other adult person related to the Member or his or her spouse and who shares a residence with the Member and is primarily dependent on the Member or the spouse for financial support. [Section 25]
Private Disclosure Forms
Once the applicable forms are completed by the Member, either independently or with the Commissioner's assistance, the Member must then have a final meeting with the Commissioner to review the information and certify that it is complete. Following the meeting with the Member, the Commissioner prepares a Public Disclosure Statement.
